My favorite coffee place in Sorrento Valley

My favorite coffee spot in Sorrento Valley

So decided to do something different with our monthly blog posts and actually write about something you guys will care for.  Reading about dental tips and tricks are cool and all, but let's be real...there are way more interesting things to read about right?

This is going to be the first of many posts that covers my eating adventures around Sorrento Valley, the small but awesome red-headed stepchild of a neighborhood that I choose to live and work in :)

My daily indulgence is Zumbar Coffee & Tea, the tiny coffee shop tucked away off of Roselle street adjacent to the 5S on ramp.  I'm not a coffee snob by any means, but the rich smell, bold coffee, and lively executive clientele reminds me of days past living in San Francisco and hanging out at coffee shops with an open book trying to cram for finals.

Like many of the other establishments in Sorrento Valley, Zumbar is only open until 5PM, which is the start of carmaggedon and the mad rush to jump on the freeways home.  It's also only open until 1:30 on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays...rightfully so, because Sorrento Valley is totally dead outside of working hours.

If you see me grabbing a cup, say HI! and the drink will be on me :)
