A local eating (and drinking) guide to Sorrento Valley – by Dr. Kathrina Agatep, Sorrento Valley Dentist
I have had the great pleasure of calling Sorrento Valley home for the past 7 years. Not only do I work in the area, but I also live here, so I though it would be
appropriate for me to do a friendly write up on some of my favorite things to eat and do here in the community I call home.
Being a small business, I love to support fellow entrepreneurs, so here’s a quick list of the local businesses I frequent. If ever you see me around, please do say hi!

Favorite Coffee Spot: Zumbar
I am by no means a coffee snob, but for those days when I need to socialize away from my trusty Nespresso machine, Zumbar is my go to spot for great coffee.
Should I even try to rank this one? San Diego is home to some of the most awesome microbrews in the nation, but I would probably have to go with Green Flash for this one. Not only is it conveniently located across the street from our office, but the open room vibe is perfect for after work socializing and event hosting.
So there you have it! A small sampling of some of my favorite local eating and watering holes. I hope you get to enjoy these spots as much as I do!
